In recent developments, AI-enabled kamikaze drones have been actively used in military operations, marking a significant shift in modern warfare.
Details:
Ukrainian Innovations: Ukraine is using AI-powered drones that can automatically find and attack Russian targets on their own, without needing human operators. This AI technology helps Ukraine's military work faster and keeps their soldiers safer.
Russian Developments: Russia is making smart weapons and robotic fighting machines that can act on their own, without people operating them directly.
Global Implications: The deployment of AI-enabled kamikaze drones raises ethical and strategic questions worldwide. The increasing autonomy of these systems challenges existing international laws and underscores the need for updated regulations to govern their use in combat scenarios.

Apple Sending Fake News Through AI Powered Alerts
Apple has temporarily suspended its AI-generated news summary feature after multiple instances of inaccurate and misleading notifications.
Details:
Inaccurate Summaries: The AI feature, part of Apple's iOS 18.3 beta, produced several false reports. Notably, it incorrectly claimed that Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth was "fired," that President-elect Donald Trump's tariffs were impacting inflation, and that nominees Marco Rubio and Pam Bondi were confirmed—all of which were untrue. Feature Suspension: In response to these inaccuracies, Apple has disabled the feature while working on improvements. The suspension also affects similar updates for iPad and Mac computers.
Media Concerns: Media organizations, including the BBC, have raised concerns about these errors, emphasizing the importance of trust in news alerts. Apple has announced an upcoming software update aimed at enhancing the accuracy of its AI summaries, which are currently in beta.
